Documentation Requirements

Tattoo Requirements
- Adults (18+): A valid government-issued photo ID is required for all tattoo services (e.g., drivers license, passport, or state ID).
- Mobile photos of IDs are NOT accepted.
- In the state of Texas, you must be 18 years of age to receive a tattoo.
- A parent or guardian can NOT sign for a minor.
Piercing Requirements – Adults (18+)
- Adults (18+): A valid government-issued photo ID is required for all piercing services (e.g., drivers license, passport, or state ID).
- Mobile photos of IDs are NOT accepted.
Piercing Requirements – Minors (8-17)
- Ages 8-12: Allowed piercings include first, second, and third earlobe piercings only.
- Ages 13-17: Allowed piercings include all piercings excluding nipples, genitals, and dermals.
Minor ID & Parent / Guardian Requirements
The minor must have one of the following forms of ID & A BIRTH CERTIFICATE:
- School ID (Must include their photo with legal first and last name)
- Passport
- Drivers license, permit, or state ID
- Library card (Must include their photo with legal first and last name)
- Season pass card (e.g., sports or amusement parks, must include their photo with legal first and last name)
Digital documents or copies are NOT accepted.
The parent or legal guardian must:
- Be present for the entire service, including accompanying the minor in the piercing room.
- Provide a valid government-issued photo ID
- Provide the minors original birth certificate
- Sign the consent form
- If you are a legal guardian and are not on the minors birth certificate, you must bring proof of guardianship.
